Dear Parents and Caregivers.
Welcome to
Rooms 7 & 8
Tesneem and Dawn welcome you to the new Montessori
classroom. Tesneem joins us from Eastern Suburbs Montessori as Team Leader and
will be teaching our senior students (Years 4-6). Dawn will be teaching the
junior students (Years 1-3).
Tesneem grew up in Canada and has been in New Zealand
for 12 ½ years. She is married and has a very energetic daughter who is turning three in the summer. Tesneem has a Bachelor’s Degree in
Politics and post graduate diplomas in Montessori education. She has experience
teaching students from years 1-8.
Dawn is a returning teacher who has a husband and three children aged 21, 19 and almost two years of age. Dawn has a Bachelor
of Education with a Montessori specialty.

School opens on Tuesday, February 2nd
with classes starting 8:50am. Students benefit from arriving from 8:30am onwards to give them time to prepare for
learning and play with friends.
Stationery packs will be available
from OfficeMax (www.myschool.co.nz) . Please select the
Montessori pack relevant to your child’s new year level. A stationery list is available for print out from the website. Please could you make sure your child
brings all their named stationery to school on the first day of Term 1.
